The Privacy Policy describes how we process information about you, this refers to information processed both during our daily work and on our website.

1. General information

This policy applies to the operations of our farm and the website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) operating at the following url: www.selerscy.com

The Operator is the Controller of your personal data in reference to the data provided voluntarily on the Website and that we process during our work.

We will process your personal data because you are our customer or a contact person from the side of our customer or contractor or potential customer or contractor.

Therefore, we will process your data to:

  • contact you on ongoing matters, including the performance of contracts between us and your employer/entity you represent, providing offers, receiving orders, answering questions. The legal basis for data processing is our legally justified interest based on being able to contact our contractors (i.e. their employees/co-workers) on an ongoing basis – Article 6 section 1 letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation (RODO)
  • provide other information about activity and possible forms of cooperation. The legal basis for data processing is our legally justified interest based on maintaining relationships with the employees and co-workers of our contractors – Article 6 section 1 letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation (RODO)
  • defend against possible claims or assert possible claims related to the contract with the entity at which you work or which you represent, i.e. our contractor – if a dispute related to the contract arises. The legal basis for data processing is our legally justified interest based on the possibility to defend against claims or assert claims – Article 6 section 1 letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation (RODO)

The Website uses personal data for the following purposes:

  • handling inquiries through the form,
  • presentation of the offer or information.

The Website performs functions of obtaining information about users and their behavior in the following ways:

  • through data voluntarily entered in the forms, which is entered into the Operator’s systems,
  • by storing cookie files on terminal devices.

2. Selected data protection methods used by the Controller

The place of login and of personal data entry are protected in the transmission layer (SSL certificate). This ensures that personal data and login data entered on the website is encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the target server.

The Operator periodically changes his/her administrative passwords.

An important element of data protection is the regular updating of any software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of software components.

The systems used by the Controller are updated on an ongoing basis also with regard to the security of the information processed.

The Website is hosted (technically maintained) on the server of the Operator: home.pl

4. Your rights and additional information about how your data is used

In certain situations, the Controller has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients, if this is necessary to perform the contract concluded with you or to fulfill obligations incumbent on the Controller. This refers to groups of recipients such as:

  • the hosting company on a trust basis,
  • couriers,
  • postal operators,
  • law firms and debt collectors,
  • banks,
  • public entities,
  • authorized employees and co-workers who use the data to fulfill the purpose of the Controller’s activity.

Your personal data processed by the Controller for no longer than it is necessary to perform the activities related to it, specified by separate regulations (e.g. on accounting). With regard to marketing data, the data will not be processed for more than 3 years.
You have the right to request from the Controller:

  • the access to personal data concerning you,
  • its correction,
  • deletion,
  • processing restriction,
  • and data transfer.

You also have the right to submit an objection in the scope of the processing of personal data for the purpose of carrying out the legally justified interests performed by the Controller, whereas the right to object cannot be exercised if there are important legally justified grounds for processing, interests that override you, rights and freedoms, in particular the establishment, assertion or defense of claims.

The Controller’s actions may be complained about to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.

Providing us with personal data is always voluntary, but necessary for our work and operation of the Website.

Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of personal data protection laws. This means that we do not send it outside the European Union.

5. Information in forms

The Website collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, if provided.

The Website can save information about the connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).

The Website, in some cases, may record information that helps to associate the data in the form with the e-mail address of the user filling out the form. In this case, the user’s email address appears inside the url of the page containing the form.

The data provided in the form is processed for the purpose resulting from the function of the specific form, e.g. to perform the process of handling a website request or trade contact, service registration, etc. Each time, the context and description of the form clearly informs what it is for.

6. Controller Logs

User behavior information on the Website may be subject to logging. This data is used to administer the Website.

7. Important marketing techniques

The Operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic, through Google Analytics (Google Inc., based in the USA). The Operator does not transmit personal data to the operator of this service, only anonymized information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s terminal device. Regarding the information about user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit the information resulting from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/

The Operator uses remarketing techniques allowing to tailor advertising messages to the user’s behavior on the website, which may give the illusion that the user’s personal data is being used to track the user, but in practice no personal data is transferred from the Operator to the advertisement operators. A technological prerequisite for such activities is that cookie handling is enabled.

The operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology results in the fact that the Facebook website (Facebook Inc., based in the USA) knows that a given person registered with it is using the Website. In this case it bases on the data in relation to which it itself is the controller, the Operator does not transfer any additional personal data from himself/herself to Facebook. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s terminal device.

The Website uses cookies.

Cookie files are IT data, in particular text files which are stored in the Website User’s terminal device and are intended for using the websites of the Website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time they are stored on the terminal device and a unique number.

The entity placing cookies on the Website User’s terminal device and obtaining access to them is the Website Operator.

  • maintaining the session of the Website user (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter his/her login and password on each sub-page of the Website,
