Northern highbush blueberry

We offer you high quality blueberry cuttings (Vaccinium corymbosum), nicely tillered, with a well-developed root system.
All the cuttings in our plant-nursery are propagated vegetatively.
We have 2-year old cuttings in 1.5 l pots on permanent sale.
Upon request, we will produce plants for you in containers of any size.

The northern highbush blueberry varieties available in our offer.

Duke

Early variety. The onset of ripening is in the first half of July. Shrubs of wide habit, straight and stiff shoots requiring proper pruning to maintain yield and fruit quality. The variety is prolific, the fruit is big, firm and tasty.

1st half of July

Bluecrop

Mid-season variety. Harvesting begins in late July. To date, the most popular variety grown in our climate. Shrubs grow up to 1.6-2 m in height, straight shoots forming a loose habit. Very prolific variety, fruit of medium size, aligned in clusters, very tasty. Shrubs resistant to frost and drought.

Bluegold

A variety of medium maturity time. The plants bush strongly, annually sprouting lots of shoots. The variety is easy to grow and very prolific, recommended for beginner planters and amateurs. Firm fruit of medium size, flattened with persistent wax coating, they store well. Sensitive to drought.

Chandler

A medium-late variety. A shrub with stiff shoots, a lifted habit and medium strength growth.
The distinguishing feature of this variety is the size of the fruit which is from 2-3 cm. The fruit is tasty and sweet, it has a strong wax coating; this variety is recommended for areas with moderate winters.

Packaging and transportation

We pack cuttings in box-pallets of 120×100 cm or on trolleys (the so-called Danish trolleys), which ensures safe and economical transport.

The plants are provided with the necessary documents needed for plant transport, i.e. a plant passport.
